Coexistence of gastric choriocarcinoma and adenocarcinoma with reproductive hormone secretion in a man: a case report

Abstract: The present study reports a rare case of a 65-year-old male patient with an exophytic ulcerative lesion in the gastric antrum. After performing a radical subtotal gastrectomy with D2 lymph node dissection and Billroth I gastrojejunostomy, histological analysis revealed a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma combined with a biphasic pattern consisting of cytotrophoblasts and syncytiotrophoblasts.
