Coherent and Incoherent Breathing Solitons in a Bidirectional Ultrafast Thulium Fiber Laser

Abstract: Mode‐locked lasers are prone to exhibit a wide range of dynamics, including the coherent dissipative soliton with high robustness or the possible emission of incoherent pulse bursts.
