Cold CO2 and Steam Injection for Heavy Oil Recovery

Abstract: Steam-Assisted Gravity-Drainage (SAGD) is one of the most effective ways of recovering heavy oil. Injection of cold solvent into the SAGD formation is an enhancement to SAGD recovery technology to reduce the energy consumption and heat loss.
