In 2002's study, ice-water immersion (5.15 ± 0.20°C), cold-water immersion (14.03 ± 0.28°C) were compared and no significant differences exist during the 12 min immersion, but significant differences were found 6 to 10 min postimmersion (Clements et al, 2002).
