Abstract:The report describes the care of an equine at the Veterinary Clinics Hospital of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). The diagnosis of verminotic colic was performed by anamnesis, clinical signs, blood tests, feces and the Graham method. Blood analysis showed eosinophilia (2223/µl). Stool parasitological examination detected Strongyloidea and Oxyuris equi eggs.
