Abstract:We present two types of nonlinear second-order consensus models with bonding controls, namely the Kuramoto model and the Cucker-Smale model with inter-particle bonding force, and study their emergent collective dynamics. The proposed models contain feedback control terms enforcing aggregation and bonding. Through the cooperative interplays between feedback controls, initial state configuration evolves to an ordered configuration asymptotically under suitable frameworks which are formulated in terms of system p… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
