Colonial legacies, postcolonial ‘selfhood’ and the (un)doing of Africa

Abstract: The debate triggered by recent publications and research justifying colonialism demands an intellectual engagement with the histories of colonialism, and their impact on postcolonial trajectories of development, peace and conflict.
