“Colorectal Cancer Survivors” Program in Istanbul, Turkey and Its Impact on Cancer Awareness

Abstract: Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is fourth most frequent cancer in men and third most common cancer in women in Turkey according to GLOBOCAN 2012 data. Its age-standardized incidence is 16.6 per 100,000 population in both sexes. CRC screening is globally accepted program and was shown that reduces CRC mortality.
