“…10 A recent Cochrane review comparing combined DTP-HepBHib vaccine with separately administered DTP-HepB and Hib vaccines observed that minor adverse events such as pain and redness were more common in children given the combined vaccine; however overall, the direction was in favor of the DTPw-HBHib vaccine rather than the DTPa-HB-Hib vaccine when compared to the separate vaccines. 11 Our results are also in line with those reported with other DTwP-HepB-Hib vaccine studies. These include a study in Turkey on Tritanrix-HBCHib, 12 a study in India on EasyFive 13 and one more study in India 14 on Shan5 TM , EasyFive TM and Tritanrix-HB TM C Hiberix TM .…”

“…Studies have shown that there's no significant difference in the immunogenicity of the DPT and the pentavalent vaccine and that both are well tolerated. [21][22][23] Majority of caregivers with a positive attitude towards the pentavalent vaccine were Christians. This result is the same with that found in the Nigerian study carried out in 2013 to assess the determinants of child's immunization where it was shown that children from the Northern part of the country were less likely to receive full immunization.…”
