Abstract:The article presents experimental data for obtaining round rods from an Al alloy containing 0.5 % rare earth metals (REM) using combined rolling-extrusion (CRE) from a round billet having Ø 12 mm, obtained in an electromagnetic mold (EMM). The variable parameters were the billet temperature, the degree of deformation, and the deformation rate.
