Combining Ability Studies for Various Yield Attributing Characters in Sesame (Sesamum Indicum L.)

Abstract

The goal of the current study was to evaluate gene action and combining ability for seed yield and its component traits in sesame. Crosses were executed using diallel analysis, excluding reciprocal cross, involving eight parents and resulting in 28 F 1 hybrids. One standard check (GT-5
