et al.

Abstract: The immune and antioxidant genetic factors that could converse with mastitis susceptibility in dromedary camels were looked at in this research. Of 120 female dromedary camels (60 healthy, and 60 with mastitis) were utilised. Each camel’s jugular vein was pierced to obtain five millilitres of blood. The blood was placed within tubes containing sodium fluoride or EDTA anticoagulants to obtain whole blood and extract DNA and RNA. The immunological (OTUD3, TLR2, TLR4, STAB2, MBL2, TRAPPC9, and C4A) and antioxidan… Show more

“…Oxidative stress-responsive kinase 1 (OXSR1) gene encodes OSR1, which controls downstream kinases in response to environmental stressors [54]. OXSR1 gene was up-regulated in endometritis Holstein cattle [55] and mastitic dromedary camels [56]. The observed alterations in the expression pattern of antioxidant and OXSR1 expression may be explained by a rise in oxidative damage resulting from a decrease in the levels of Ca and Cu, which in turn causes a decrease in SOD, CAT, and GPX [57]; [58].…”

“…In order to fully eradicate diseased animals or utilize disease-resistant livestock, it is imperative to comprehend the underlying mutations and interactions that lead to genetic resistance [32]. Sequencing of the amplified PCR products revealed variations in the immunological, metabolic and antioxidant genes in both endometritis and healthy Ossimi ewes.…”
