“…As a result of this study, they showed that waste transformer oil can be used as fuel in diesel engine. Wang and Ni (2017) have worked with similar fuel derived from waste lubricating oil.Specific fuel consumption (be) was reduced by approximately 3% at 3000 rpm under light and medium loads when compared to DLF's diesel. It has been observed that the DLF has slightly higher NOx emissions in medium and heavy loads, resulting in slightly more smoke emissions, and higher HC and CO emissions than those of diesel fuel, especially at medium loads.…”
