CommensalStreptococcus mitisproduces two different lipoteichoic acids of type I and type IV

Abstract: The opportunistic pathogen Streptococcus mitis possesses, like other members of the Mitis group of viridans streptococci, phosphorylcholine (P-Cho)-containing teichoic acids (TAs) in its cell wall.
