Commercial applications of high-powered laser diodes

Abstract: The development of high power laser diodes using Surface Emitting Distributed Feedback (SEDFB) techniques has matured to the point where serious marketing analyses have been conducted. While development of the base technology continues, the initiation of systems applications and manufacturing engineering has begun.
