Community-based ecotourism for preventing overtourism and tourismophobia

Abstract: Purpose This paper aims to examine the local community tourism as a solution to address overtourism and tourismophobia in unpopular and vulnerable tourist areas (rural places, wetlands, protected areas, historic sites and isolated places).
