Purpose This article examined the awareness level of stakeholders towards the different activities of the community-based rehabilitation programme for inclusive development. Methods Mixed research with concurrent convergent parallel design was employed. Besides, 98 CBR stakeholders, 26 PWDs, and 5 parents of PWDs participated in the questionnaire, interview, and focused group discussion. Results The result showed that the population mean of the awareness score was considerably less than the observed mean of the stakeholder score of the sample. Besides, the study result shows that stakeholders have low awareness on some activities of the CBR programme. Conclusion The CBR stakeholders have high levels of awareness of most activities of the programme, in turn, this contributes to inclusive development. However, stakeholders scored lower on some activities of the programme. Therefore, to build an inclusive society in the rural community, the study informs CBR stakeholders on how to help PWDs and receive rehabilitation services by raising their awareness towards the CBR programmes.
