Community Clustering Routing Algorithm Based on Information Entropy in Mobile Opportunity Network

Abstract: Aiming at the difficulty of traditional routing clustering algorithms to deal with the different characteristics between communities and the inefficient nodes after community clustering, this paper proposes a Community clustering Routing protocol based on information Entropy in mobile opportunity Networks (CREN). The proposed protocol uses the K-Modes algorithm with unsupervised learning, combined with the pre-selected initial clustering center node to divide the network nodes into the initial clustering commu… Show more

“…Let 𝑇 1 represent the time that a device meets other devices in the OppNets. Using (4) the 𝑇 1 can be measured using (5). Similarly, 𝑇 2 defines the time when two different device meets, the anticipated outcome of 𝑇 2 is measured using (6).…”

“…In NCCLC, the link correlation was considered when calculating the number of required forwarding and selecting the forwarder set. In [ 29 ], the Community clustering Routing protocol based on information Entropy in mobile opportunity Networks (CREN) was proposed to deal with the different characteristics between communities and the inefficient nodes after community clustering. CREN reduces the transmission delay and routing overhead.…”
