Community engagement: A central feature of NOSM’s socially accountable distributed medical education

Abstract: Background: Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) serves as the Faculty of Medicine of Lakehead and Laurentian Universities, and views the entire geography of Northern Ontario as its campus.
