Abstract:This letter introduces a filtering magic-T based on a hybrid microstrip-cavity structure. TE 011 and TE 101 modes of the cavity are generated by the two perpendicular input microstrip lines to form the filtering responses. Because of the orthogonality of the feeding lines and the two resonant modes, in-and outof-phase output currents and high port isolations are achieved. The measured filtering responses of the two input ports are in good agreement with each other and possess high-frequency selectivity. The is… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
