Compact Multi-Layer Four-Way Siw Power Combiners/Dividers Operating at W-Band

et al.

Abstract: Abstract-In this paper, two compact multi-layer four-way substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) power combiners/dividers operating at W-band are analyzed and demonstrated experimentally/numerically. Based on the double-layer SIW broadside slot directional coupler, a four-way power combiner/divider is proposed for the first time. And a four-layer four-way SIW power combiner/divider is demonstrated experimentally, by using the transition structure between high-performance multi-layer SIWs and rectangular waveguide… Show more

“…2 Moreover, the SIW combines the advantages of planar transmission lines (TLs) and low-loss waveguides. However, to the author's best knowledge, there is relatively less literature on BTB FPDs based on SIW structure, although the balanced SIW filters [12][13][14][15][16] and balanced SIW dividers [17][18][19][20] have been extensively studied.…”

“…S4(a), includes four elements: the solution resistance (Rs), the Warburg impedance (Zw), the CPE and the Ret. When the impedimetric spectrum of electrodes only presents the kinetics-controlled part, such as the MUA-and MHA-modified electrodes, the EIS behavior can be explained using the 1R//C model, consisting of Rs in series with one parallel circuit comprising a Ret and a CPE, 33,34 as shown in the inset of Fig. S4(b).…”
