Compact Thin-disk Multipass Amplifier Tolerant of Strong Disk Thermal Distortions

Abstract: A thin-disk multipass amplifier with good stability for the thermal lensing of disk is presented. Simulations and experiments demonstrated slight beam variations on the disk of which the dioptric power varies in a wide range.
