“…A good correlation between a chest CT scan and LUS score or hypoxemia severity has been observed in multiple studies [ 90 , 91 ]. Meanwhile, no significant correlation was observed between a quantitative assessment of lung damage by a lung ultrasound (lung ultrasound Zaragoza LUZ-score) and X-ray findings (Shalekamp score), and the ultrasound was found to be superior in assessing the outcome of COVID-19 patients during their hospital stay, especially if associated with a clinical prediction mode [ 92 , 93 ].
