Comparative analysis of mitogenomes among three species of grasshoppers (Orthoptera: Acridoidea: Gomphocerinae) and their phylogenetic implications

Abstract: Whole mitochondrial genomes have been widely used in phylogenetic analysis, population genetics and biogeography studies. This study sequenced and characterized three complete mitochondrial genomes (Dasyhippus peipingensis, Myrmeleotettix palpalis, Aeropedellus prominemarginis) and determined their phylogenetic position in Acrididae.
