Abstract:Thermogravimetry is a well-known analysing technique in which the mass of a substance is monitored as a function of temperature variation by time, and as a sample specimen being subjected to a scheduled temperature program, in a controlled atmosphere. The method is based on measuring sensors for the mass loss, in the controlled-atmosphere furnace, and on a temperature programmer, all interfaced to a computer.
