Abstract:Background: Bovine tuberculosis (bTB) is a chronic disease that results from infection with any member of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex and infected animals are typically diagnosed withtuberculin-based intradermal skin tests per World Organization of Animal Health or similar guidelines.
