Abstract:This paper intends to compare two different approaches for the stochastic analyses of low voltage distribution networks. A quasi-sequential approach using a distribution based method and a sequential approach using Seasonal ARMA time series for individual consumption and generation are benchmarked on a low voltage network. A qualitative and quantitative analysis of two scenarios (without and with storage) show the advantages and limitations of both approaches. Additionally, it highlights the great potential of… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
