“…Targeting female literacy or educational expansion-a focus of campaigns to reduce IPV (Weitzman 2018)may result in a greater risk of IPV for those who still retain elements of target suitability or who lack guardians in more equitable contexts. These individual differences showcase the variability across the Global South and that one's experience within these contexts is also key (Bhardwaj and Miller 2021). This possible difference in family size preference might be influenced by Sri Lanka's high rates of education for women compared to other South Asian countries, which may also explain Sri Lanka's differing rates and consequences of IPV [47]. Past year physical IPV was only associated with changes in primary contraceptive method type in districts that were distal to conflict, where it was associated with decreased relative risk of both sterilization and traditional methods.…”

“…And most points are in domestic violence, up to 6480 issues (Komnas Perempuan, 2021). Domestic violence against women is a global phenomenon controlling countless victims (Bhardwaj & Miller, 2021;Sundarajan & Spano, 2004). We can see domestic violence to wives by the husband and, in many cases, sexual, physical, economic, and psychologies.…”
