Comparative Efficacy and Safety of Lixisenatide and Insulin Regimens in the Treatment of Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Inadequately Controlled by Basal Insulin: A Systematic Review and Network Meta-Analysis

Abstract: S35 treated with IDet and 357(25.0%) patients treated with rIGlar. The overall rate of all hypoglycemia was 109.4 events/100 patient-year. The rate of all hypoglycemia among patients treated with IGlar, IDet and rIGlar were 117.06, 82.97, and 114.06 respectively. The overall rate of severe hypoglycemia was 12.84 events/100 patientyear.
