Comparative Evaluation of Burnt and Unburnt Agro-Wastes on Soil Properties and Growth Performance of Cocoyam in a Humid Environment

Abstract: Field studies were carried out in 2011 and 2013 planting seasons at the Teaching and Research Farm of Federal University of Technology, Owerri Imo State to evaluate the effect of burnt and unburnt agro-wastes on soil properties, growth and yield of cocoyam (Colocasia esculenta) in a Typic-Haplustult.
