Abstract: Background: Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) is a new noninvasive dimension of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) that provides insight into the white matter microstructure. In epilepsy, widespread DTI abnormalities have been reported in multiple studies in medical literature.
