Abstract: Fungal plant pathogens cause major crop losses worldwide, with many featuring compartmentalised genomes that include both core and accessory regions, which are believed to drive adaptation. The highly host‐specific fungus Colletotrichum lupini greatly impacts lupin (Lupinus spp.) cultivation.
