Abstract:Background: Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer related death in women. About eighty percent of breast cancers express Estrogen receptors. Long term survival of hormone receptor positive breast cancer patients was significantly improved after introduction of adjuvant hormonal therapy.
