Abstract:Introduction: Laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) is the most frequently performed refractive surgical procedure for the treatment of myopia. Astigmatism and hyperopia. The development of a corneal flap, the initial phase of LASIK, is the most crucial step and has the most impact on the visual result of the whole surgery. The flap generation is followed by excimer laser ablation of the exposed stroma, and then the flap is relocated. There are three ways to accomplish a narrow flap.
