Comparative Study of Anti-Inflammatory Activity of Rosuvastatin With That of Aspirin in Albino Rats

Abstract: BACKGROUND Statins are HMG-CoA (3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A) reductase inhibitors well known for their hypolipidemic action. More recently, there has been an increased interest in pleiotropic effects of statins like anti-inflammatory action that occurs independent of their lipid lowering effect.
