Abstract: As lithium-ion battery (LIB) use rises, recycling becomes imperative. Efficiently overdischarging LIBs for residual energy extraction is crucial for safe recycling. Our study analyzes the electrochemical behavior during overdischarge for positive electrode materials, including LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 (NCM622), LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 (NCM811), LiFePO4 (LFP), LiCoO2 (LCO), and LiMn2O4 (LMO).
