Comparing the application of various engineered xenografts for skin defects: A systematic review

Abstract: Since the 1970 s, there has been a heightened interest in the use of xenografts as a substitute for human tissue. 1 It paved the way for new treatment modalities in addition to being used as a model to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of therapeutic trials.
