Comparison between transfer path analysis methods on an electric vehicle

Abstract: A comparison between transfer path analysis and operational path analysis methods using an electric vehicle is presented in this study. Structure-borne noise paths to the cabin from different engine and suspension points have been considered. To realise these methods, two types of test have been performed; operational tests on a rolling road and hammer tests in static conditions. The main aim of this work is assessing the critical paths which are transmitting the structure-borne vibrations from the electric ve… Show more

“…The operational forces at each transfer path and the transfer function through these paths. The transfer functions are obtained either experimentally or numerically [2,3,14,15] and the operational forces can be directly obtained from measurements using force transducers or estimated via indirect methods [1,5,16]. Assuming that the system is linear, time invariant and that the operational loads can be determined, the total response at the target y t ( ) due to the partial contribution of each path of the system is:…”

“…Для живлення електропривода використовуються акумуляторні батареї літій-іонного типу, важливою проблемою яких є балансування їх елементів під час заряду від зовнішньої електричної мережі [6,7]. Важливою проблемою є порівняння енергетичної ефективності гібридних, електричних та звичайних транспортних засобів, а також розроблення методики визначення витрат енергоносіїв електричних та гібридних транспортних засобів у процесі експлуатації в різних країнах [8][9][10][11].…”

“…The TSA may be then further manipulated by applying band-pass filter that allows to isolate the mesh frequency or the rotation components. The subsequent computation of the Hilbert transform provide the chance to determine both amplitude and phase of the modulation [8][9][10], which typically represent an indication of the presence of faults.…”
