Comparison of calculus detection among dental hygienists using an explorer and ultrasonic insert

Abstract: Introduction Periodontal therapy disrupts the biofilm harbouring calculus that triggers inflammation. The explorer is primarily used for calculus detection, and the ultrasonic instrument is primarily used for calculus removal.
