“…In the single prior case series specifically devoted to arthroscopic glenoid labral repair with double-loaded anchors for the treatment of glenohumeral instability, Kim et al 11 examined 45 patients with a minimum of 2 years' follow-up and reported a mean final ASES score of 96.9, which is similar to the result reported in our study. Similarly, mean final ASES scores of 87, 1 92, 12 89, 13 and 88-90 20 and mean final SST scores of 11 4 , 18 , 22 and 11-12 19 have been reported previously with arthroscopic labral repair. Mean final VAS pain scores of 0.3, 3 1, 4 2, 19 and 0-1 26 have been reported previously with arthroscopic labral repair.…”

“…Over the past three decades, suture anchors (variations in size and suture types, metal or plastic polymer) have been widely used to treat soft tissue pathologies and other musculoskeletal disorders, such as repair of bankart lesions, biceps tenodesis, acromioclavicular joint dislocation reconstruction, deltoid repair and capsulolabral repair (8). However, despite good to excellent outcomes in most studies, there are no gold standard guidelines described for suture anchors use in arthroscopic labral repair (9,(16)(17)(18)(19). In our experience, the present study demonstrated that arthroscopic labral repair of anterior shoulder instability with this all-soft suture anchors was associated with good clinical and functional outcomes, similar to the conventional suture metal anchor.…”

“…Given the concerns regarding all-suture anchors causing the formation of wider cavities around the anchors due to micromotion, 3,7 Ro et al 5 showed that the rate and size of the cysts caused by all-suture anchors were not significantly different from those of biocomposite and PEEK anchors. Lee et al 7 reported that the increment in tunnel diameter with all-suture anchors was significantly greater than that with biodegradable suture anchors at the 1-year computed tomography follow-up after arthroscopic Bankart repair. Regardless of the increased tunnel diameter, clinical outcomes of arthroscopic Bankart repair with all-suture anchors were satisfactory and the functional outcomes and postoperative stability were comparable to those of conventional biodegradable anchors at least 2 years after surgery.…”

“…Regardless of the increased tunnel diameter, clinical outcomes of arthroscopic Bankart repair with all-suture anchors were satisfactory and the functional outcomes and postoperative stability were comparable to those of conventional biodegradable anchors at least 2 years after surgery. 7 Therefore, from the perspectives of clinical outcome and rate of cyst occurrence, I think that it is safe to say that allsuture anchors are no more baleful than other anchors. The findings of Ro et al 5 are similar to those of other studies in that perianchor cysts do not negatively affect clinical outcomes.…”
