“…Prolonged operative duration would be affected by the accumulation of rocuronium, the reversal of neuromuscular blockade and residual curarization after surgery, especially in elderly patients [8]. The results in this study had a longer duration of surgery than those of Gulec et al, in which operation time was 105.47 ± 53.38 min [9]. The reason behind this is that our study included both gastric and colon surgeries which usually require longer operative times.…”
