Abstract:Postoperative analgesia for inguinal hernia procedures can be provided safely and effectively with USG guided TAP blocks. In the TAP block following inguinal hernia repair, we compared the analgesic effectiveness of dexmedetomidine and clonidine.: Seventy four patients undergoing inguinal hernia repair under spinal anesthesia were randomly divided in to Group LD (n=37) and Group LC (n=37).
