Comparison of Drinking Water Bottles of Different Countries Along With Zamzam Water

Abstract: Bottled water is perceived by many people of Pakistan and other countries as well a safer alternative to other sources of water such as tap water. This may be attributed to consumers disliking the taste of tap water or it's organoleptic. Bottled water usage has increased even in countries where clean tap water is present such as in Germany, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia etc. The objective of present study was to compare the drinkable bottled water quality between different countries along with ZamZam water. Eleven d… Show more

“…Any concentration of the ingredients greater or less can cause adverse effects on health. 14,15 We focused on the comparison of the chemical ingredients concentration range of the most popular brands of bottled water according to WHO standards. Our study provided a new set of important information on different brands of bottled water in Peshawar city for health benefits.…”

“…However, with the extensive and inefficient urbanization of land, the urban natural ecosystem is degrading, which further restricts the sustainable development of cites (Weber and Puissant, 2003;Daniel et al, 2018). Therefore, the land use and land cover change research has become a frontier and hot topic of global change research (Mooney et al, 2013;Ismail et al, 2019), and its importance is increasingly prominent in the study of global environmental change and sustainable development (Blumstein and Thompson, 2015;Mahmood et al, 2018). In urban planning, strengthening the control of green space layout can optimize the living environment and reduce the impact of urban development on the natural ecosystem.…”

“…In addition, a response surface method was combined with the electro-oxidation-flocculation coupling process for advanced treatment of landfill leachate (Hou et al, 2017;. Through simulation and analysis of variance, a quadratic response surface model with significant levels was obtained (Ahamed et al, 2017;Allahdadi and Li, 2018;Guerrini et al, 2018;Mahmood et al, 2018;Sultana et al, 2018). By analyzing the response surface, the optimal reaction conditions for COD removal were obtained, and the landfill leachate treatment was implemented according to the optimal conditions.…”
