Abstract:CONTEXT: Post-operative pain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy is less than open cholecystectomy, but many patients require strong analgesia postoperatively. Intraperitoneal administration of local anaesthetics alone or in combination with various adjuvants can control postoperative pain.
