Abstract: This study assesses the efficacy of ultraviolet light-emitting diodes (UV LEDs) for deactivating Legionella pneumophila (pure culture) and Pseudomonas fluorescens (pure culture and biofilms) on relevant drinking water distribution system surfaces (cast iron and stainless steel).
