Abstract:IntroductionHeatstroke is a life-threatening illness involving extreme hyperthermia and multi-organ failure, and it is associated with high mortality. The immune profiles of heatstroke have not been fully elucidated, and diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers of heatstroke are lacking.
