Abstract:We investigated the lipid components in ten wheat cultivars and their physiological activities. The crude lipid contents of wheat cultivars varied from 1.42 to 2.35%. The α-tocopherol content of 'Ofri' (9.15 μg/g) and the β-tocopherol content of 'Baekchal' (4.19 μg/g) were higher than that in other cultivars. γ-Tocopherol contents of 'Baekchal', 'Saegeumgang', and 'Hwanggeumal' were 0.23, 0.19, and 0.23 μg/g, respectively, but it was not detected in any other cultivar. α-Tocotrienol content was highest in 'Bae… Show more
