Comparison of Methodologies used to Determine Aromatic Lignin Unit Ratios in Lignocellulosic Biomass

Abstract: Background Multiple analytical methods have been developed to determine the ratios of aromatic lignin units, particularly the syringyl/guaiacyl (S/G) ratio, of lignin biopolymers in plant cell walls.
