Abstract: Management of food resources is considered fundamental for supporting insect pollinators, whose abundance shows a downward trend on the global scale. Here, the nectar and pollen production (per flower, per 1 m2 of tree crown), the composition of nectar carbohydrates and the levels of pollen proteins was evaluated in eight Tilia species (Malvaceae) growing in SE Poland.
