Comparison of one week and two weeks of triple therapy for the eradication of <i>Helicobacter pylori</i> in a Sri Lankan population: a randomised, controlled study

Abstract: Introduction Resistance of Helicobacter pylori to antibiotics may be particularly high in parts of the tropics. Infection may prove difficult to eradicate in such situations, and there is some evidence of benefit in increasing the duration of treatment (triple therapy) from 1 week to 2 or 3 weeks.
